The Channel 4 Production scheme is an amazing opportunity for people to take their first steps in TV production, with paid 12 month researcher opportunities across the UK – Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Belfast, Cardiff, North Wales and Glasgow – starting in May 2021. It’s part of our 4Skills commitment to seek out and develop diverse talent in the Nations and Regions.
We are looking for people with a passion for television and lots of enthusiasm, the scheme aims to offer opportunities to those currently underrepresented in in the TV industry so we are particularly keen to hear from people with disabilities and from BAME communities. We are not looking for people with more than a 3 months experience already as this is an entry level scheme. Candidates need to be 18+ to apply, there is no upper age limit.
We would really appreciate the help of our partners and networks to get the message out there, and encourage people to apply, especially those from diverse backgrounds.
Recruitment will open from early January and people can apply from 4Jobs (careers.channel4.com/4jobs)
